Dr. Andrew Ordelheide was born and raised on the Oregon Coast in Lincoln City. He studied violin and music performance at Walla Walla University and La Sierra University before continuing on to dental school at Loma Linda University and earning his doctorate of dental surgery in 2008. While pursuing his music performance degree, he found the greatest treasure in his future wife, Elizabeth.
Having a family background in health care and service, Dr. Andrew chose to continue into dentistry after having the opportunity to serve in the field internationally prior to attending college. It is his desire and mission to provide simple, effective, and comfortable dental care with a focus on prevention.
While his wife was finishing her last year of dental school, Dr. Andrew chose to relocate to Plains, Montana, in hopes of making a great and positive impact on a community by changing the experience for each individual that his team has the opportunity to serve.
When not at the office, Dr. Andrew enjoys outdoor activities such as mountain biking and kiteboarding in all seasons. Always a highlight is playing music with his wife, Dr. Elizabeth.
Dr. Elizabeth Ordelheide was born and raised in southern California. While attending Walla Walla University for undergraduate classes, she met her future husband, Andrew, in music theory classes. After spending a year abroad as a student missionary at a children’s home in Romania, she returned to California to attend Loma Linda University and received degrees in Medical Radiography (AS) and Radiologic Sciences (BS).
Always wanting to end up in a profession where its primary focus is on serving others, Dr. Elizabeth decided to go into dentistry. After working as a radiologic technologist for five years, she went back to school and eventually received her doctorate of dental surgery from Loma Linda University in 2012. Soon after, she moved to Montana to join her husband, Dr. Andrew Ordelheide, who had started working at Ordelheide Dental the previous year.
When at home, the Doctors Ordelheide’s dogs keep them company: an ex-racing greyhound and a leggy rescued terrier mix. In her spare time, Dr. Elizabeth enjoys playing the piano, fiber arts, photography, the outdoors, and cooking ethnic foods that can’t easily be found in Plains!
Dr. Jaye Sedlack is originally from upstate New York. She worked as an economist for 15 years and eventually realized she needed a career change. After taking time to explore her options and see which field may be the right fit for her, she decided to pursue dentistry. Ultimately, she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and, immediately following, was accepted into a one-year hospital General Practice Residency.
She has now been practicing dentistry for more than eight years. Even though she serves our country as a dentist for the National Guard in Utah, she has spent the majority of her dental career in Wyoming and Montana.
One of the main reasons Dr. Sedlack loves Montana is because it offers so many four-season activities she enjoys, such as skiing, bicycling, hiking, packing trips, and camping to name a few.
Dr. Sedlack has been part our team since April 2017. Other than working part-time for the National Guard, she will be working part-time here to provide additional hours to be available to the community.
